O.A.S.I.S. Our Answer Stands In Scripture  

 

Thursday Nights 6:00-7:30pm

O.A.S.I.S. is Our Savior Lutheran Church's Confirmation education program.

On most Thursday nights throughout the school year, from 6:00 to 7:30pm, OASIS features a fun and educational introduction to Lutheran beliefs.
          

 

      OASIS is short for Our Stands In Scripture.  We believe and follow Proverbs 22:6 which says, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it."

The Bible is not meant to be a coffee table book or something to use as a paperweight.  God's Word is useful for every day life.  That's what OASIS wants to share with the kids who we are blessed to work with each week.

The new generation doesn't just learn from reading a book - it's experiential.  OASIS uses games, music videos, video clips and fellowship with other kids to build, strengthen and guide the faith of grade-school age children.

The greatest gift you can give a youth is a solid foundation from which to build their life on.  We follow the Bible knowing that God knows us better than anyone else and His greatest desire is see us do well in this life and in the life to come.
